can you go through all the macromolecular elements/how to know if a compound is macromolecular please

So there are a few common macromolecules/ that you have to know e.g. diamond, graphite, graphene, buckminsterfullerenes, and silicon dioxide. They are macromolecules/giant covalent structures because they have got a large number of covalent bonds that are arranged in a repeated pattern.

Copper is just a metal so it has a metallic lattice structure.

MgO is an ionic compound so it has a giant ionic structure/lattice.

P4O10 (a non-metal oxide) is a simple molecular compound and not a macromolecule as it does not have a large number of covalent bonds.
