core pure 2 Exercise 1G question 6

I think this question might be ambiguous. When it says the ant walks forward one unit and then turns right by 2Pi/9, I took forward to mean in the new direction so that eventually the ant would describe a nonagram, however looking at the solution, it looks like forward is always meant to be in the direction of the positive real axis and this is followed by a rotation about the origin. The next stage of the motion being in the positive real direction. Am I right here, or have I misunderstood the question/solution?

If the ant did 9 walks, it would eventually be a 9-sided polygon, but the ant only did 4 walks.
