I’m doing gcses with CCEA in Northern Ireland and I’m being given so much work but gcses are cancelled? A teacher admitted to me that because we are a private school and already paid for the education the school has to teach us. I’m just unsure if I should be doing this work.

I would definitely carry on with the learning. The gap between GCSE and A-level is already a big one. If you’ve not yet completed the content for your GCSE’s you will find it exceptionally difficult.

If you are extremely keen to begin the year 12 content then, i would say try out class D in the ExamQA school. This class is for students in year 11 aiming to get a head start for the A-levels
